Scouts – Challenge, Adventure, and Leadership
Scouts at 1st Pinhoe Scout Group are all about pushing boundaries, building independence, and having unforgettable experiences. Designed for young people aged 10½ to 14, our Scout Troop meets every Friday from 7:00 to 9:00pm – and no two evenings are ever the same!
Whether it’s hiking, camping, cooking outdoors, learning survival skills, or taking part in community projects, Scouts get stuck into hands-on activities that build resilience, confidence, and leadership. They work towards badges and awards that recognise their achievements and give them valuable life skills.
Scouts are given more responsibility and the chance to shape their own programme, helping them to grow as individuals and as part of a team. It’s a place where they can take on challenges, support one another, and make lifelong friendships – all while having a lot of fun along the way.
