Cubs – Adventure, Skills, and Fun!
Cubs at 1st Pinhoe Scout Group are full of energy, curiosity, and a sense of adventure! Aimed at children aged 8 to 10½, our Cub Pack meets every Monday from 6:45 to 8:15pm, offering a packed programme of activities that help young people grow in confidence, learn new skills, and make great friends.
Each week is different – one week we might be learning how to light a fire or build a shelter, the next we could be earning badges, playing team games, or helping out in the community. Our Cubs take part in exciting camps, outdoor adventures, creative projects, and challenges that stretch their imagination and build their resilience.
At Cubs, we encourage teamwork, independence, and kindness, all while having a brilliant time. It’s a safe, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to try their best, take on new experiences, and – most importantly – have fun.
